TIMOTHY O. FISHER recently retired as Senior Vice President of The Hillman Company, where he continues to serve as a member of the Board of Directors. The Hillman Company is a private, family owned investment company located in Pittsburgh, PA with a broadly diversified portfolio focused of alternative assets. Mr. Fisher’s former oversight responsibilities included Hillman’s private equity, hedge fund and long-only equity portfolios. Mr. Fisher was employed with The Hillman Company in various capacities since 1972. He currently serves as a director of STROM brand, a fashion design firm, Boyd & Blair, a boutique spirits distiller and StyleSelect, an online market place for unbranded apparel. Mr. Fisher is on the advisory boards of Owl Ventures and March Capital. Mr. Fisher is also a special advisor to Three Ocean Partners, a boutique investment bank headquartered in New York City, and PepPod, an innovative energy beverage company. Beginning in 1985, Mr. Fisher became involved with Hillman’s growing portfolio of private equity funds and over the years led many direct deals through Hillman’s active co-investment program. During the mid-1990’s, Mr. Fisher launched Hillman’s initial investments in long/short hedge funds. Over the past decade this portfolio of Hillman’s assets grew into a concentrated portfolio of hedged and long only equities managed by partners with superior long-term performance metrics. Mr. Fisher was born and raised in New England and attended the Holderness School in New Hampshire. He and his wife, Audrey, reside in a loft located in downtown Pittsburgh and in Holderness, NH and Santa Barbara, CA. Over the past two decades Mr. Fisher has played an active role conserving land in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire working with the Squam Lakes Association, the Lakes Region Conservation Trust and the Squam Lakes Conservation Society where he serves on the board of directors. Mr. Fisher served as an officer or director of the Squam Lakes Association for fifteen years including four years as president. Mr. Fisher currently serves on the Advisory Council of the University of California Arts & Lectures program. He has served on a number of nonprofit boards in Pittsburgh, PA, Central New Hampshire and Santa Barbara. Mr. Fisher received a BA from the University of Denver in 1971 and earned an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Colgate Darden School of Business in 1976.
