JOHN DANILOVICH is a U.S. diplomat, Secretary General of the International Chamber of Commerce and former ambassador to Brazil and Costa Rica. He was the Chief Executive Officer of the Millennium Challenge Corporation, an innovative foreign aid agency of the United States Government, from 2005-2009. Danilovich also served on the Board of the Panama Canal Commission and was Chairman of the Transition between the US and Panamanian governments. For several decades, John has had a successful career in the international maritime industry and has held directorships in a number of shipping related companies. Ambassador Danilovich is presently a non-executive director of d'Amico International Shipping and of Engyco PLC and is on the Council of the Harvard School of Public Health, a member of The Council on Foreign Relations and of the American Academy of Diplomacy. He has received a number of national and international awards.
